Huge announcement!!
Short Track Central is proud to announce the coming together of 3 of the best NASCAR Racing 2003 Season add-on track makers.
Rioux (Denis Rioux - of masgrafx)
Murd0ck42 (Chris Haskins - of dxracing.com)
are joining the premier organization for creating short tracks for NASCAR Racing 2003 Season with current member TheFej87. This will pool together some of the best talent for making ovals under this platform. All of our short track work (old and new) will be available at http://www.shorttrackcentral.com as well as at the locations mentioned above! We look forward to continuing the great tradition of STC and put out the best tracks ever seen for NR2k3. Denis and myself have worked together on a few tracks recently and we all very much look forward to working with each other in the future.
If you have any questions or comments such as short tracks you'd like to see made or old short tracks revamped visit our forums at STC!
I have also re-opened the forums here as I will be around more often ... and be working on tracks again.

Rockford, ILL: Rockford Speedway for NR2003 released!

Rockford Speedway is a real 1/4 mile asphalt track in Rockford, ILL. It has "roller coaster" style progressive banking in the corners from 10-22 degrees. Online and Offline support for cup, gns, cts, aero88, iroc, and most other non pta based mods. You can find more info on this track including the readme file in the tracks block on the left side of dxracing.com! Download is available in the downloads section. Special thanks to all those that helped out (see readme). Please feel free to leave comments on our forums.

Dxracing.com remembers 9/11
It has taken well over 12 hours to put this video together basically for http://www.simracingnetwork.com and their broadcasts next week. I have also put this together for myself ... not as a reminder of what happened ... but a reminder of how it felt.

Kentucky Speedway
Kentucky Speedway v0.9 released! The only thing not complete are the grandstands. Support for cup, gns, iroc, cts, areo88, and owr! Find it in our downloads section to the left. There will be a final version out with accurate grandstands and graphic updates but I do not know when.

Off to Lexington, SC
Visit Grass Roots Racing for information on a LAN event being held this week. I will be there as well as alot of other people to race and have some good ole fasion fun with.
You do not need to be signed up you can just show up Friday night or Saturday morning with the entry fee and your computer and race. Im sure you could all get a chuckle out of me actually driving on the track instead of making the track. LOL
Best of all you can meet Smokey Joe Baugh and of course Dr. Lip of SRNtv even though they both have very long drives ahead of them ... Its sure to be fun!

I need some details on the following track:
Slinger Super Speedway
Rockford Speedway
Jefferson Speedway
Stockton 99 Speedway
I need pics and banking details on all of the above ... if you can help out please post in our forum!

Houston SS v2 released!
I'd like to give a big thanks to the architectural team that worked on this track that sent me some seriously detailed specs. The track features a much better turns 1 and 2. It comes with a fast setup for all mods and everyone should gain 10 - 20% FPS. Check the downloads section for Houston SS v2. You can download either the zip or the exe file, you do NOT need both!

Nashville SS Night has been released!
We are proud to release Nashville SS night today! It's features include all the features of the day version plus lighting and shading for the night conversion, new fast and expert setups for the gns mod, and less grip than the day version!
Feel free to leave us any comments in our forums.
New on Kentucky: We are waiting only for the grandstands to be completed and the track is ready for release. The track is very fun with alot of high speed side by side racing!
